Leitartikel Gezahlt Ten: EP I Shifts into Overdrive

Recently downloaded the second Phantom Menace trailer (in a blazing three hours). Besides the furious action, glorious CGI landscapes, and amazing battledroids, there were several items I was quite pleased to behold - details that may not have caught the eye of the casual viewer:

Item One: Dazzling ROTJ-style metal bikini. Scope the slave Liea outfit that blue-haired fox next to Jabba was sporting! I reckon Lucas figured that when you've tapped into costuming genius like that there really is no point in resisting. Even if this flick tanks (uh, right) a glimpse of that outfit alone is worth the price of admission (though still won't be the same without Carrie Fisher poured into it...)

bring her to me...

Item Two: Evil Goatee. Good to see the mighty Goat being reinforced as a key element in the Prequels. It has been my experience that a proper Vandyke requires about 30 days to sprout - jump on the wagon now and join the ranks of the Prequel avant-garde.

Diabolic!

Spoiler!
Item Three: KITT
. The first trailer had me concerned that all his parts were cut, but as you clearly saw, you just can't keep the Knight Rider down. I had been told that he lost the part of "Vehicular Jedi Master" to that sweet Starsky and Hutch car - such was apparently not the case. The scene where young Anakin and KITT bound gaily across that grassy field chokes me up everytime I watch it...

A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist

A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law
