koo-joo-joo I loveit, I loveit

The mighty General Lee was on display, along with a modest Dukes of Hazzard (DOH) museum that included autographs, props, and behind-the-scenes type material.

Sonny "Enos" Shroyer was on hand to answer questions and sign your favorite Duke Boys paraphernalia. Sonny charged a big five bucks to get yer picture taken with him (which is why I'm not in this particular photo) - though he didn't seem very happy with that arrangement. "Contractual obligations. You do understand?" I reckon if you marry Daisy Duke you can pretty much name your price when it comes to the personal appearances. Friendly fella, very charismatic.

Tom Savini (right) also put in another appearance. I never get tired of this guy's booth, year-in and year-out. Scope out the official Savini website right here.

Next to Tom was artistic Master Vince Locke. Vince is the local-boy-made-good who has completed the artistic chores on many a big name comic, including my old favorite, Dead World. His portfolio (reminiscent of Berni Wrightson's work) is jaw-droppingly beautiful. When this web-design gig finally pays-off you can bet I'll have an office chock-full of Locke originals.

howdy y'all
