Below are three excerpts taken from screen tests that were done in 1975 for the major roles in some strange sci-fi movie to be directed by that guy who did American Graffiti. At times the script may seem a little odd (the stenographer stands by his work though) and die-hards will notice a misspelling or two (tough marbles, I wasn't motivated enough to look everything up. Sheesh).

Luke (to Han): Fear is their greatest defense. I doubt the actual security there is much greater than on Apolli or Sollist. And what there is is most likely directed at a large-scale assault.
Han: This is not a game, y'know.
Luke (upset): Well how many more systems have to get blown away before you have no place to hide and are forced to fight? Don't you realize what's going on?

Han (to Luke): Now wait a minute. She is on Alderaan. Aw, no. No, it isn't possible. Nobody, I mean nobody, dares venture near the system of Alderaan. I'm free booter boy*, not a revolutionary, and you are on the wrong ship.

Leia (to Han): All of the data banks in R2 are still secure.
Han: Well, I think that we ought to have the reward you're talking about. And I hope it will be substantial, considering what we've been through already.
Leia (upset): When R2 has been safely delivered to my forces, you'll get your reward.

No, it is not much, but I thought it was pretty darn interesting. They were all so young back then and read those lines like their lives depended on it (overacting o-plenty) -- I love the way anybody who was talking with Han ended up becoming irritated with him. That scoundrel...

* I have no idea what "free booter" means -- I only know what I heard. Probably some kind of bootleg reference (y'know them smuggling types).
